| Where to go, where to go?
There was a time when I was so devoted to the act of blogging -- whether I spoke about my daily activities, poured out my innermost thoughts, or exposed to the world my love of photography -- I did it solely through the (internet) pages of dear ol' faithful XANGA. However, there has also been two great blog-worthy contenders: LiveJournal & BlogSpot -- that were seen as the cousin & little brother to XANGA. Within this great inner circle that I have the privilege to be part of -- many individuals have decided to "rant" and "rave" on blogspot. Even my own significant other has fallen for the blogging world and created his own blogspot account.
Towards the end of last year, I created a blogspot account of my own. I was excited to see the differences between xanga & blogspot. Blogspot proved to be very interesting, primarily to their networking capabilities (since many former xanga writers converted to using blogspot). Xanga had slowly lost many of their once loyal bloggers to the ever growing blogspot. I too, was willing to start anew at this new blogging location -- but hit one MAJOR roadblock...
Where was the CUSTOMIZATION options?
So at that point -- I chose to stay with xanga, mainly because I found a way to customize my layout and veer away from the same ol'-same ol' themed layouts.
THAT WAS UNTIL TODAY!
Go figure, I would begin to randomly browse through blogspot blogs and find that there are quite a bit of customized layouts -- how they figured this out, well, I would have to some research -- much like I did for xanga. So my search for the "just right" blogging location continues. Wish me luck, because it seems like I'm going to need it.

So, it is official -- I have successfully began my separate photography endeavor. I will continue to work as manager/photography assistant to John Valdez Photography, however, it was time to venture out on my own. With that, the birth of [ ten | twelve photography ] came to be. Below is the first of many samples:
